I just wanted to send you a short note to let you know how much ordering one of your shoulder guards helped my paint mare last year. Just in the last couple years (and we live in Texas) she has been getting sunburned pretty bad on her shoulder/neck area and sunscreen just wasn't doing it. The shoulder guard I ordered totally worked on protecting her from the sun and I think she realized it too because brushing her in that area got to be a bit painful for her, and it wasn't any longer. I ordered another one this year just because it worked so well and a lot less expensive route/less hassle in the long run. Just wanted to let you know how much I like the hood I bought recently. I have used several different brands over the years and when I first got this one I was a little nervous because there was no zipper or Velcro, but to my surprise it is the best fitting sleezy I have ever used. "I wanted to tell you that I ordered a Cool Sleezy for my paint horse to wear this summer for sunburn protection and I absolutely love it! You did a beautiful job on it and the fit is absolutely perfect. I was a little worried about that, because my gelding is a really muscled- Quarter horse type and I didn't know how it would fit him. He has plenty of room to stretch his head down and eat and the fabric moves with him and doesn't ride up. The girth fit is perfect- not tight or pinchy. The inside of the sleezy is cozy and soft and he seemed to really like it.

One thing I did realize is that a full zip may come in handy, because at first horses don't like stretching it over their eyes and ears. But with use, they will get used to it. I don't understand why anyone would want to order a sleezy from any other company, because personally, my horse would be extremely irritated from a tight fitting-painted on type. There is no need for pressure like that on a horse. If the fit is overly tight, the horse is just going to rub. An your product fits perfectly - with extra room to move, but fitted enough to stay in place.
