Have
a "Lil' Taz" in your pasture? Designed for the smaller equine that can be just as tough as the big horses on their clothes, this sleezy is made from tear and puncture resistant Spandura. Each yarn consists of Cordura fibers spun around a Lycra core. Because of this tricky blend, the resulting fabric feels soft, supple, and stretchy with none of the stiffness or boardy feeling that you might expect from a fabric made of Cordura. The spinning and weaving process makes Spandura an expensive fabric for us to use but it provides a level of tear and puncture resistance not seen in stretch fabrics. Unlike regular Cordura/Lycra, Spandura just doesn't stretch a little--it stretches a LOT. And because the Spandura we use is completely uncoated, its vapor permeability is extremely high, yet the tight weave of its air-bulked yarns renders it highly wind resistant. Spandura has a wider comfort range than any other fabric we've seen. All this adds up to a horse sleazy that is comfortable and capable of outlasting any similar horse hood you may have used before.
